I am still awaiting settlement for a claim - it's been over 2 months already..They decided now to hire a expert, prolonging for another month I presume - The coverage is horrible and I discovered AAA offers lower rates for more coverage with the same vehicle Ive had with these guys for over 3 years!. |

Poor customer service. Been a member for 25+ years,..so much for patronage. I had a small problem which ended up being a "she said, he said disagreement." She inferred Mercury does not keep backlogs & I would Not be reimbursed for a mistake she will Not admit to. What can i say, or do? of course I'm switching car insurance carriers.
So much competition one would think every individual patron counts. Unfortunately Not the case with Mercury. Very Disappointing!! I'd rather deal with a gecko or caveman than a company that doesn't care! Maybe there's some truth to their commercial which shows cutting their costs at their employee's expense. I would Not suggest mercury insurance!. |

I had my car broken into last month and have mercury for insurance. My car had the radio stolen along with some other audio equipment and my car was keyed as well. one month later and my car has not even begun repairs. Mercury is a comp that is built around loop-holes so they dont have to pay or have to pay as little as possible. All i can really say is that i have had a terrible exsperince and have watched them try to take advantage of me over and over. I happen to be an ajuster for progressive insurance so i know my way around claims, and mercury truly has one of the poorest claims departments out there. If you are looking to buy auto insurance i know mercury is cheep but if in a accident you will end up like me regreting it.. |
