Horrible!!!! Bad customer service- claims--Slow to pay. I had two auto claims over a period of three years and each claim turned into a big problem. I had full coverage. They approved my rental with enterprise, then two weeks later without telling me denied the approval. enterprise accelerated my credit for the whole amount. A motorist hit and ran when my car was parked. A witness saw it, got the license number. Gave all the info to Mercury agent in the orange county area of Sothern Calif. who talked to me like I was a criminal, refused to pay the repair shop when the car was finished, saying that they had not conpleted their investigation. Long story short, I had to pay up front to get my car. Wow full coverage too!! But I had a kind gentlman at the auto repair shop who felt badly about what mercury was doing and allowed me to pick my car up with a post dated check. NO thanks to Mercury. So much for Insurance. They finally sent me reimbursement.. |

I am still awaiting settlement for a claim - it's been over 2 months already..They decided now to hire a expert, prolonging for another month I presume - The coverage is horrible and I discovered AAA offers lower rates for more coverage with the same vehicle Ive had with these guys for over 3 years!. |

Poor customer service. Been a member for 25+ years,..so much for patronage. I had a small problem which ended up being a "she said, he said disagreement." She inferred Mercury does not keep backlogs & I would Not be reimbursed for a mistake she will Not admit to. What can i say, or do? of course I'm switching car insurance carriers.
So much competition one would think every individual patron counts. Unfortunately Not the case with Mercury. Very Disappointing!! I'd rather deal with a gecko or caveman than a company that doesn't care! Maybe there's some truth to their commercial which shows cutting their costs at their employee's expense. I would Not suggest mercury insurance!. |

Being a part of Mercury Insurance I feel that there is no other insurance policy giving so much attention to the security issues concerning the personal and financial information of the customers. I feel secure in having my insurance with Mercury Insurance since they are using security measures of international standards. When the customer support is coupled with low rate insurance plans, I now enjoy the greatest advantage that I would not have been able to get if I have taken any other insurance plans.. |
